All
Warm Tile kits include the warming cable, instructions and
adequate strapping. The system may be installed
directly on plywood,
concrete or cement
backerboard substrates
by simply placing the system in the mortar just below the floor
finish. Marble, ceramic, glass and porcelain tile; slate;
granite and poured or dimensional stone, in addition to laminate
and engineered hardwood products. |

| Determine the cable spacing. Space the cables 3" apart EXCEPT installations on concrete floors and for rooms above unheated areas, then use alternately spaced cables 3" and 1 1/2" apart (these types of floors have greater heat loss and require more heating cable.) |

Step two - Chose desired thermostat. All thermostats
include a floor sensor. |
Warm
Tiles Thermostats provide comfort, control and years of
trouble free service. Our Floor Sensor is embedded in the
mortar just below your tiles, which monitors the actual
floor temperature to provide you with accurate comfort
levels. Each model features comfort level programming
options as well as a simple off-position selector switch.
You may also choose the pre-programmed set-back mode to
reduce energy usage by over 50%. Optional decorator doors
are included with all Warm Tile Thermostats. |

CKT
Concrete Tape Kit (25 ft/roll)
Not suitable for wood sub-floors.
This double faced adhesive tape is used to attach
the WarmTile strapping to concrete floors. When used over a
clean, smooth concrete floor or cement board
surface, it will typically eliminate the need to drill
and tap screws into concrete surfaces for the
purpose of securing the cable strapping to the
floor. This tape will not adhere to a
dirty or dusty surface.
One
roll typically covers 25 - 35 Square Feet of warmed area. |

| While it is as easy as it looks, always
refer to the detailed installation instructions included
with each Warm Tiles kit. Using a variable speed electric
drill and other ordinary hand tools, installation can be
completed in three phases. |
1. On
the room's subfloor, whether it is plywood, concrete or
cement backerboard, layout your Warm Tiles system
according to the instructions. Be sure to place the
sensor of your thermostat between the heating cables
during laying the floor. Use a Warm Tiles Thermostat for
automatic control of your floor warming system. |
2.
The Warm Tiles cable is installed using the specially
designed strapping to properly affix the cable to the floor. |
 Complete
flooring installation. |
3.
The thermostat is installed and connected to the power
source. Your Warm Tiles thermostat will regulate only
enough electricity to heat your floor to the desired
temperature. When the floor reaches your preset
temperature, the electricity will cycle off. Since the
electricity is generating warmth about one-third of the
time, the cost savings are significant. On average, the
operating cost is 1 cent per heated square foot per day,
regardless of the size of your installation. |
